Muscat win in style

Muscat finished a generally disappointing season with a thumping victory at the ABA Stadium. Missing several players including skipper Karl away on International Duty the team started at a fantastic pace against a depleted Doha side. Tries from Andrew Moncur (2) Ernie Olsson, Mike - 30 metres Biggs, and 5 other buggers whose names escape me sealed a well deserved victory for a team who have been very close all season - literally.
After the narrow defeat to the Dubai Dragons in the Plate Final in April (we was robbed) it was a testament to the players that they continued to work hard until the end of the season.
With club matters taking a turn for the worse it is encouraging to note that the team looks very strong for next season and coaches Andy 'Muscat Mouth" Pyzer and Ian Johns were quoted as saying... I suppose this means we'll have to keep coaching all bloody summer, bugger.
Awaiting news from the AGRFU for next seasons fixtures, anyone wishing to support the club feel free to drop us a line, we need all the help we can get. Thank you supporters for braving the searing heat and lack of booze.
